Cynthia, an ICF-accredited Professional Certified Coach (PCC), is the Founder and Director of Enlightened Leadership. Highly respected for her ability to listen to clients and build their trust, she goes straight to the core of their challenges to guide them with unwavering devotion to practical solutions that merge seamlessly with their day-to-day reality. She blends directness and compassion with a style that is forward-moving and results-focused.
Cynthia’s core competency and work passion is leadership development. She is a master designer in the delivery of bespoke coaching and training solutions for C-Suite leaders and managers at all levels who are leading change and committed to building a culture of organizational leadership, especially within and across culturally diverse global environments. She is known for both her focus on behavioral change and her innate sensibility to local culture combined with a global business mindset, which is at the heart of her work and comes from her more than two decades-long life living and working abroad. Her clients span the globe, including the USA, EMEA, LATHAM, and UK, in various private sector industries, the public sector, the United Nations, and academia.
Prior professional roles include several years with the United Nations, where Cynthia was respected for her thought leadership and sensibility toward women and local culture as she led groundbreaking social science research and policy initiatives and forged unique partnerships with diverse stakeholders, notably the private sector. She has authored two books and several articles in international journals from her work during this time.
Cynthia is certified to administer, interpret, and facilitate several leadership tools, assessments, and strategies, including DiSC®, the Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI), Lominger Voices 360, the Booth Company’s 360 Suite, and Ken Blanchard’s Situational Leadership II. She is a certified master in Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP), and a member of the executive coaching team for alumni of The Columbia University Business School, New York. Cynthia earned a bachelor’s degree, anthropology and Latin American Studies, Connecticut College, New London, USA, and a master’s degree in global public health, Columbia University, New York.back
