“Imagine immensities, don’t compromise, and don’t waste time”

We find now an inspiring time time to listen to Debbie Millman’s heartening commencement speech, which was delivered to the graduating class at San Jose State University.

Because it’s February, a month into the New Year, when those “resolutions” may seem irrelevant, or overwhelming, or shallow, or just plain meaningless.

Her talk is based on her essay titled “Fail Safe” from her 2009 anthology, Look Both Ways: Illustrated Essays on the Intersection of Life and Design.

In this essay she shares her musings and insights, on bravery, living creatively and with uncertainty, and by doing what you love.
