David Gleiser, a professional coach for Enlightened Leadership, uses action- learning and ontological approaches with his clients in order to support them in finding their blind spots and, taking those into account, designing their future. He has developed the strength of helping individuals discover their point of view and make generative decisions in order to live more fully and lead others.

Coaching since 1995, David is highly effective with top executives and leaders due to his ability to communicate in their terms and bring out the essence of their challenges. He has experience in many sectors, such as education, manufacturing, banking, telecommunications, and government. His areas of expertise include culture and change management, mergers and acquisitions, innovation, and innovation management. He is author of a book on conflict management and several articles on coaching, learning within organizations, and innovation.

David has been a researcher and teacher at Universidad de los Andes in Bogotá, where he introduced coaching as a learning process and was the director of the first graduate program in human resource management in Colombia. His workshop on negotiation and conflict management contributed to creating a professional standard on negotiation in Columbia, including the training of several cohorts of international negotiators. David served as a consultant for the Colombian National Planning Department and the Central Bank, where he used coaching to develop leadership skills. As vice president of human resources for Bayer AG in the Andean countries, David created a program of Coaching for Leadership Development and implemented it throughout the region during 2006.
David holds a psychology degree and is a graduate in economics from Universidad de los Andes. He is certified as a Learning Coach (LIM Consulting) and as an Ontological Coach (Newfield Consulting). He is also a graduate of the Advanced Program in Ontological Coaching (Newfield Network).

David’s native language is Spanish, and he also comfortably coaches in English. He is passionate about systematic innovation, so has become a TRIZ practitioner. He often serves as a keynote speaker and presenter at leadership events.
