Mercè Martín, an ICF-trained executive leadership coach, trainer, and facilitator for Enlightened Leadership, is known as a trust-builder and empathetic listener who enjoys guiding clients through change with a nonjudgmental style and unwavering commitment to helping them overcome challenges and develop their full potential.

Coaching since 2006, Mercè is successful with managers at all levels, from first-time to director level, who work for global multinationals, as well as middle and small companies. She has extensive experience in the retail, consumer goods, and hotel industries, and her specific areas of expertise are leadership development, talent management, and succession planning.

When clients partner with Mercè, they benefit from her more than 15 years prior work experience in human resources, in roles such HR Regional Manager and Selection & Development Manager in Hesperia/NH Hotels, and as a Learning & Development Manager and South Europe Regional Lead in DANONE. Since the start of her career nearly two decades ago, she has been responsible for the implementation of leadership, development, talent, and succession programs at the director and manager levels.

Mercè offers her clients the latest leadership assessments, techniques, and strategies, including the 360 Code Leadership (Hay Group), the Insights Discovery System for Teams, Leadership and Sales, DiSC®, and McClelland Motives and Values. She is also a professor at the EADA Business School, Barcelona, where she teaches and facilitates programs in HR management and International leadership.

Mercè earned a university degree in psychology, Barcelona University, and a master’s degree in organizational development, Tel-Aviv University. Mercè’s native language is both Catalan and Spanish, and she also comfortably coaches in English.

Mercè enjoys travelling the world, discovering new people and new ways of living and thinking, which contributes to her development. She also likes doing sports, reading, learning new things and trying always to grow as a person.
