Willa is an ICF-accredited Professional Certified Coach (PCC) for Enlightened Leadership, with a career that includes 21 years in the private sector and 27 years in the U.S. Federal Government. So she knows, in this increasingly global world, no one does anything alone. Whether coaching, training, or facilitating, Willa’s style ensures her clients have clarity of purpose and vision first, and, then, by meeting them where they are in competency, reliability, or authenticity, she takes them where they want to go through awareness and actions that result in maximum sustainability.

Since 2005, Willa has been coaching leaders at all levels, primarily in the U.S. Federal Government. Her areas of expertise include coaching and leadership development, designing and delivering leadership development programs, team building, and executive transition. Willa developed groundbreaking programs for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), receiving the coveted Robert H. Goddard Award twice for her work in mentoring/coaching and executive transition. Her successes include creating the Internal Coaching and Executive Transition Programs at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center, and both spread Agency-wide. Over the years and, even after retirement from the U.S. Federal Government, her programs continue to provide continuous development through training and coaching to hundreds of midlevel and senior managers.

Willa holds a bachelor’s degree in foreign language (Spanish) with a minor in Latin American Affairs from Hiram College, Ohio, USA. She is certified as a Somatic Coach by the Strozzi Institute; as a leadership trainer in Situational Leadership II (SLII), SLII-The Experience, Frontline Leadership, and Situational Self-Leadership for the Ken Blanchard Companies; and in Executive Transition by Strategic Start. Willa is also certified in DISC, Richard Barrett’s Cultural Transformational Tools, and NASA’s 360 feedback. Her native language is English and she speaks fluent Spanish.

Outside of her profession, Willa’s passion is cooking, vegetable gardening, piano, and fly-fishing, where she earned the title “Rainbow Woman.”
